Avanti Rhythmics runs four Programs We have worked hard to ensure that each program allows for the best possible training environment for all the girls and will enable them to advance their Rhythmic Gymnastics skills and develop to their fullest potential. The Recreation Program No experience needed This class is dedicated for girls aged 5-7 It is a basic introduction to both body and apparatus skills - ribbon, ball, hoop, rope and clubs. It is a fun class whilst still learning the fundamental beginnings of Rhythmics i.e. stretching, balancing, leaping, hand eye coordination, ballet movements, dance and the collaboration of group routines for an end of year concert performance. Girl's progress and skills will be monitored continually. The Development Squad Program This class is designed as an extension of the recreation class and or a class for girls selected to compete in Level 1 which is the first stage of Rhythmic competition. Girls are selected from the recreational class that are showing the physical and behavioural characteristics of a young gymnast with future potential.
